Prayer at St Paul's
At St Pauls’ Catholic Primary School, we believe that giving glory, honour, praise and thanks to God is central to our Prayer and Liturgy. It is our loving response, in words and actions, to God’s invitation to enter into relationship with Him, made possible through the work of Jesus Christ and the witness of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer and Liturgy at St Pauls’ Catholic Primary School provides opportunities for pupils and staff to come together to worship God, with Christ at its heart, while respecting diversity of belief and commitment. Prayer and Liturgy, is Catholic in character, reflecting the liturgical tradition of the Church and taking into account the religious and educational needs of all who share in it.
Our weekly Prayer and Liturgy and Daily Classroom Prayer are rooted in the previous Sunday Mass reading and always leading to pray and reflection.

There are certain prayers that the children are expected to learn in each year group. These can be found below in our school prayer book:
Prayer at Home
We send prayer bags home so that families can spend time together in prayer and continue all that the children participate in when at school.
So that families can participate in prayer throughout the year at any point, we have setup a prayer at home padlet which families can access throughout the year to support prayer as a family.
