Class information

 Virtues

We learn to be Attentive by listening carefully to others and noticing the needs of those around us.

We are Discerning when we make thoughtful choices that help us grow closer to God.

"Speak, Lord, your servant is listening."

– 1 Samuel 3:10

How We Show this:

  • We listen carefully in lessons and during prayer.
  • We think before we act or speak.
  • We choose what is right, even when it is difficult.
  • We notice when someone needs help and respond kindly.

Catholic Social Teaching

Solidarity means standing together, helping each other, and making sure no one is left out.

Common good is when everyone has what they need to live, learn and grow.

“Love your neighbour as yourself.”

– Mark 12:31

How We Show This

  • We include others and make sure everyone feels welcome.
  • We work together as a class team.
  • We help people in our school and in our wider world.
  • We support charities like CAFOD to help people who need it most.

This reminds Year 4 that we care for everyone, near and far, because we are one family in God.
