Explaining Coronavirus to your child

Good Afternoon,

I'm hoping that you are all keeping well and staying safe. Currently a lot of the children are confused and worried about this horrible virus, I know my own children are. Please find attached a book that you may find useful to share with your child.

This book has been created by Nosy Crow publications and is illustrated by Axel Scheffer (of the Gruffalo)
It's a really nice story to explain the Coronavirus to 5-9 year olds with an illustrator familiar to the children.

I have loved seeing some of the children's work on their class pages. Their teachers have been calling me telling me all about their weekly conversations with the children. You are doing a great job, keep it up.

We are all missing the children so much and hoping that we can be back together again soon.
