Dear Parents/Carers

Thank you all for your support with our procedures before and after school and for implementing new changes so quickly this morning – it is greatly appreciated!

All decisions are made to keep the school as safe as possible for everyone.  While we cannot enforce masks for any adults (parents or staff), we appreciate that those of you who can wear a mask, are doing so.  Another thank you for ensuring only one adult comes onto the school site for drop offs and collections.  It is helping to keep the playground less congested at the start and end of the day.

Please keep social distancing when lining up in the morning, walking into school and when on the playground; ensuring that children stay with an adult and avoid mixing between bubbles before and after school.

Thanks to the staff again for all their hard work this week; keeping the children safe and happy in school. Thanks to the children for all their hard work too!

COVID-19 Related Pupil Absence

Attached is a very useful document outlining what families are to do in respect of a number of eventualities involving symptomatic family members. We ask that you read the information so that you understand the responsibilities of both the school and our families in order to keep us all safe.

Sadly, we are seeing cases rise locally and some schools having to close class bubbles. We are confident our measures are minimising risk, but it is important we follow the guidance at all times. We cannot enforce the new regulations out of school but trust that our families are doing all they can to follow them and minimise the risk of infection.  We all have a part to play and must take responsibility.

If you think that your child may be displaying symptoms of COVID-19, please consult the nhs.uk website:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

There is a list of symptoms and an online symptom checker that is useful if you are unsure what to do:

Thank you for your continued support.
